About the Collections

This online catalogue contains information about archives, artefacts and rare books held by three repositories at the University of Roehampton:

• Foyle Special Collections and Archives
• Whitelands College Archive
• Southlands College Archive

For an overview of all the archival collections listed in the catalogue, choose the Advanced Search option from the menu on the left, then search under the Level field for "Fonds" ("Fonds" is an archival term, meaning "Collection").

Foyle Special Collections and Archives

Based in the University of Roehampton's library, Archives and Special Collections looks after several collections of original archive documents and book collections including rare books. The collections relate relate to Froebel movement and the kindergarten, the history of the Froebel Educational Institute, Children's Literature, the author Richmal Crompton, Dance, and to a number of other areas including Religious Studies.

Whitelands College Archive

Based at Whitelands College at the University of Roehampton, Whitelands College Archive looks after a collection of original documents, artefacts and rare books relating to the history of Whitelands College.

Southlands College Archive

Based at Southlands College at the University of Roehampton, Southlands College Archive looks after a collection of original documents and artefacts relating to the history of Southlands College.
