Some of the items used for scrap paper include: - A letter to Miss Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] from someone wishing to subscribe to the United Society for Christian Literature, 1949. - Part of a letter [to Richmal Crompton] from a fan, c1965. - Part of a letter to RC Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] from Westminster Bank Limited, Beckenham, Kent, discussing a stock transfer, 1967. - A letter to Richmal [Richmal Crompton] from friends, c1968. - A draft letter from RC Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] ordering an item from a catalogue [recipient's name not stated], 1968. - Pages from annotated, typed draft copies of William stories, created and annotated in c1968. - Accounts for royalties to be paid by George Newnes Limited, London, publishers, c1968. The file also contains a typed transcription of an account of [the great fire of London] in 1666 [by Samuel Pepys?]; typed trascription created c1960s.
