Description	The speech was titled "William and the Puritans: The 1972 Collins Edition"; it was given at a "William Day" in Hemel Hempstead, [Hertfordshire], in 1985. The file contains the following: - A hand-written draft copy of the speech; written in 1985. - Photocopies of sections of letters [to Richmal Ashbee from Collins, publishers] discussing edits to be made to the William stories; letters written in c1972 and photocopies made in c1985. - Hand-written notes [made by Richmal Ashbee], presumably relating to the creation of the speech. - Correspondence sent to Richmal Ashbee from Alan Whitehead, discussing the speech; correspondence dated 1985.
