| Description | This sub-fonds consists of material accumulated as a result of student participation in clubs and associations. It includes a poetry anthology, articles of association, constitutions, correspondence, financial documents, minutes, and nature journals. The following clubs and associations are present in the series: Froebel Vacation Association, Knebworth Cricket Club, Literary Society, Michaelis Guild Alumni Association, Guild of St Francis, Old Froebelian Society, Parent Teacher's Association, and the Student Union. Noteworthy correspondents include Eglantyne Mary Jebb and Lord Lytton of Knebworth House. The nature journals (also known as Keston journals), found in the Guild of St Francis series, are some of the most unique items in the Froebel Archive of Childhood Studies Records, and contain illustrations, diagrams, maps and photographs of exceptional quality. |
